The Western Pennsylvania Chapter of GLOBE would like to express its gratitude to the existing membership; we are excited to be a part of growing force within Verizon. We are not sure of our footing or what is expected of us as a group, since this is the first time most of us have made a commitment as advantageous as this one. We will do our best in joining our brothers and sisters of GLOBE to achieve not only any local or district goals we may have but to embrace any national platforms presented by GLOBE for the advancement of us all. Currently we have only ten members in this newly formed chapter. We are looking at having an open house meeting during the month of February to attract more members to the Western Pennsylvania Chapter.

This area is a big work center and scheduling seems to be issue for all of us getting together at the same time. Goal number one for 2004! Once we have gotten together to brainstorm ideas on what activities or directions GLOBE Western Pennsylvania will be going in this year, I will forward it to the membership.
