Verizon Donates $10,000 to GLAD at 2004 Boston Pride Festival
Boston, Massachusetts
Members of Verizon's Employee Resource Group GLOBE participated in a presentation to GLAD (Gay & Lesbian Advocates and Defenders) at the 34th Annual Boston Pride Parade and Festival on Saturday, June 12.
Verizon, which was a corporate sponsor of the event, donated $10,000 to GLAD to demonstrate its support for education and progress in the GLBT community. GLAD’s mission is to achieve full equality and justice for New England's GLBT, HIV or AIDS affected individuals. |
